Honda Japan officially announces the availability of the long-awaited 2021 Honda GB350 and Honda GB350 S for the Japanese market. Here are the details of availability and prices!
Honda Japan has just officially announced the availability of the new 2021 Honda GB350 and GB350 S roadsters for the Japanese market. Although Honda has renamed the models, the GB350 models from the Japanese domestic market are very similar to the Honda H’ness CB350 and CB350 RS from India.
The 2021 Honda GB350 is said to go on sale in Japan next month, starting on April 22, 2021. Meanwhile, the GB350 S variant is said to be available on July 15, 2021.
Speaking of motorcycles, both the GB350 and GB350 S follow Honda’s retro styling and come equipped with a host of modern features. Similar to features found on the CB350 RS, Japan’s GB350 range comes equipped with full LED lighting, digital / analog instrument cluster, HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control), and ABS.
Built around a semi-double cradle frame, the bikes are powered by a 348cc air-cooled 4-stroke OHC single-cylinder engine. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox, the GB350 and GB350 S deliver a maximum power of 19.7 hp at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 29 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
Braking is done by a dual-piston caliper with a 310mm disc at the front and a single-piston caliper with a 240mm disc at the rear. Two-channel ABS is also standard on these models. Suspension-wise, telescopic front forks and nitrogen-charged twin rear shocks take care of the suspension duties.
The Honda GB350 S is based on the classic GB350. However, unlike the standard GB350, the GB 350S has a wider rear tire (150/70), folding seat, accent muffler with smoked black finish, skid plate, fork boots, sport grab bars, LED taillight underneath. of the seat and LED flashing lights in the shape of an eye.
