We are delighted with the magnificent and futuristic machinery that we see in film and television. Futuristic cars and motorcycles are becoming more credible with technological advancements. The bike that Idris Elba rode as the villainous Brixton Lore was one of the most spectacular visions of the future we’ve ever seen. While this is not a technology that has yet manifested itself on a production bike, it is certainly not out of the question for the future. What was that cool motorcycle from the “Hobbs and Shaw” spinoff from the Fast and the Furious franchise? Keep reading and we will tell you.
The ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ motorcycle
What you saw Elba riding in the movie was quite indistinguishable in terms of the exact make and model. The bike appeared to be a self-contained version that only required riders to get on board and hold on. The bike stole the show in the movie according to Blog Droom. The black leather suit and excellent acting made him look even more impressive. We saw how the bike seemed to bend and change shape as it slid under a truck during one of the most famous chase scenes in the movie. While we know that this type of smart bike has yet to be invented in real life, it was exciting to ponder the possibilities.
The motorcycle did not come from a standard version for sure. It was actually a modified Triumph Speed Triple RS model. The creators left the Triumph mark on the fuel tank along with a few other characteristics that identified the model the bike was based on. The twin-spar-style frame design gave it away. The manufacturing team did a great job adding a few cosmetic changes to create a one-of-a-kind motorcycle for the movie. They started with a sports bike known for its high performance to start with. They cosmetically transformed the rear end and added capsule-style LED headlights in vertically aligned multiples to create a somewhat foreboding look. It looked like a bicycle that would be driven by an evil villain. In the movie, you wondered if the bicycle could be more dangerous than its rider.

RS Modded impressed Idris Elba
Elba shared his thoughts on the specially modified Triumph RS with Digital Spy. The star commented on what was real and what wasn’t on the bike. While most of the mind-blowing stunts seen in the movie were enhanced with CGI technology, he shared that much of what you saw on the bike was real. It is simply not possible for a bicycle to change shape and bend when sliding under a truck in the real world. This is one of the improvements made, but the look of the bike is really impressive. The mod team did an excellent job of creating a mean-looking, high-performance motorcycle that suited the character of Elba in the movie. He added that it is an electric bike as a joke.
A bike with a personalized personality
