The best weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
The best weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are almost always legendary weapons, as their improved stats and additional special abilities can often do a lot to improve your combat prowess. And while all legendary weapons are good, we’ve listed five below that we would recommend to most players. Of course, if you want a nice set of Legendary armor to match, here are the details.
The Dagger of Kronus can be found by completing the required story mission Ashes to Ashes, which has a recommended level of 19. It does an additional 15% warrior and dagger damage, making it good for both stealth and builds. combat, but it also deals 40% bonus damage when hitting enemies from behind, dealing heavy damage on stealth attacks or just well-positioned hits.
Technically a spear, this weapon does 15% more warrior damage and 25% critical damage, but it also has another amazing ability – you can use it to breathe underwater. While the weapon is equipped, the user has no limit to the amount of time that can be spent underwater, without ever running out of breath. So while it is a good combat weapon on land, there is no better item to fight off sharks or other ocean threats. You can find the Trident at any point in the game by navigating to a small, unnamed island north of Samos and south of Chios, identifiable by the massive statue of Poseidon looming over it. However, there will be several level 40 lions in it, so sneak them up to the golden chest and take it out for the Trident.

This weapon can be found on any mercenary enemy whose name ends with “the weaver.” A perfect stealth weapon, the Weaver deals 15% more Assassin damage and 20% more Poison damage. It sounds quite contextual, until you realize that the Stinger always deals poison damage, even without added abilities. It is excellent for hindering enemies or getting powerful backstabs. Adding Poison Skills to your skill tree can go a long way toward increasing the Stinger’s potential.
Arch of eros
The Bow of Eros is perfect for a high-level Hunter build, dealing 15% more Hunter damage, 15% more adrenaline per hit to enemies, and most importantly, it has a 50% chance not to use special arrows when shooting. The advantages should be obvious; that all explosive or death arrows that greatly increase a hunter’s power can last much longer in a dangerous situation. The Arch of Eros can be found in Messenia, more specifically in the northwest of the Great Pit Mines. You must find the Andania mine, go to the caves and find a chest on the left. The bow of Eros is in there.
Mallet of Eternal Flame
For those who want to do real damage, the Mallet of Everlasting Flame is a massive mace that deals 15% additional damage to the warrior, an additional 20% fire damage, and, like the Stinger, converts all their damage to damage from fire. You can also get it by defeating any mercenary whose name is followed by “the Burning One”. Its wide hits and lasting damage make it ideal against particular groups of enemies.
