When you get some new technology, there is always a learning period as you become familiar with how it all works. After acquiring the latest PlayStation, you’ll want to know how to adjust all the settings, download its apps, and of course, how to eject a PS4 disc. Now that last part may seem too obvious, but trust us when we say that it is not as straightforward as you might expect. When we got our PS4 for the first time, an embarrassing situation happened, after we put a disc in the console and had a few hours of fun playing one of the best PS4 games. All very well, but when we wanted to expel the thing later we were completely lost. To save anyone else from similar embarrassment, we’ve put together this quick guide on how to eject a PS4 disc, and to get started we’ve highlighted that invisible eject button on the original PS4 in the image below.
There is. All you need to do is press that button. That little, tiny button. The one just below the disk drive and in the crack. Look at it? Easy right?
It’s the same story with the PS4 Pro. Look along the glowing line down from the power button and you’ll see the little icon. It’s a bit hidden and annoying to push, but that’s okay.
With the newer version of that standard PS4 (commonly known as the PS4 Slim), Sony has simplified the entire eject process by placing a physical eject button, which can be pressed properly, next to the power button.
Your expulsion still doesn’t work? Then we suggest you go here.
