The current plots and antics of the Assassin’s Creed series are divisive to say the least. Yet Abstergo, the evil corporate conglomerate that acts as the face of the Templar Order in the 21st century, is key to the story. Their logo is even quite prominent throughout the series – which is why it’s strange that Comedy Central’s new show, Corporate, has a company with the Abstergo logo.

It’s not exactly a well-known logo outside of gaming circles, of course, but it’s a reversed version of the Abstergo logo, noticed by -Fluffers- on Reddit. This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened. Interestingly, a post on the Ubisoft forums made people wonder if Egypt would be the next scenario in 2013, when Egyptian television featured the Abstergo logo at a press conference by then-President Mohammed Morsi.
It’s likely a coincidence, or a case of someone inadvertently influenced by Assassin’s Creed iconography but, if it helps you justify the killing of Templars in games, feel free to think of Abstergo as a slightly incompetent evil conglomerate at heart. of an American. sitcom.
You can see the logo on a wall for a minute in the trailer above. The only other fun fact is that Lance Reddick is in it, as you can see, who is famous for his work on John Wick, on Fringe, and as Commander Zavala in Destiny. Let the conspiracy theories begin.
