Island Visitors NPC (Non-player Character) on Animal Crossing: New Horizons they are, as the name suggests, characters who do not have permanent residence on your island.

Instead, they will visit your island for a day. This could be a specific day of the week or they can be part of a rotating schedule, meaning you are guaranteed a visit from them every two weeks.

Many of these visitors, such as Redd and Saharah, allow you to purchase items that no other merchant offers in the game, while KK Slider and Gulliver have unique ways of offering you new items.

Rotating NPC Island Visitor Hours in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Explained

Most of the visitors to the NPC islands you encounter in New Horizons follow a rotating schedule, ensuring that you receive at least one visit from each NPC every two weeks.

This means, for example, that if Redd, Saharah, Flick, Gullivarrr, and Label visit your island on one, then you’re guaranteed to see CJ, Gulliver, Leif, and Kicks on the next.

Special Island Visitors NPC in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Explained

There are currently five NPC Island Visitors, in addition to Mabel, in New Horizons who can be considered special, which means that they do not follow the same schedule as the other Island Visitors.

These visitors to the island are:

Daisy Mae will always visit your island every Sunday morning to sell her turnips and will leave at 12pm. Meanwhile, you need to unlock KK Slider by completing the main story of the game and then she will visit every Saturday or Sunday if an event intervenes.

Celeste will only visit your island once a week during a meteor show, which is sometimes announced by Isabelle. Wisp, on the other hand, can appear several times a week between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.

Celeste and Wisp will appear at night.

Finally, Pascal can be found once a day after having caught a scallop while diving. However, there is no guarantee how many scallops you need to find.

New to Animal Crossing? Our Animal Crossing New Horizons tips can help you with the basics. Right from the start, there are fish and insects to catch, flowers and fruits to grow with Leif selling seeds, villagers to add or remove, and tools like the new ladder and pole to collect. Once you’ve settled in, you’ll want to make as many bells as possible, start collecting KK Slider songs and working on your island’s star rating, increasing your HHA rating, incorporating Feng Shui into your room design, and acquiring Kitchen furniture. You can also buy fake Redd art, use Dream Suite, and the island backup.
