Quests, side quests, boss tips, new activities – everything you need to get the most out of Geralt’s latest adventure.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to Nintendo Switch this week, with Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine DLC.
Blood and Wine introduces an entirely new landmass populated with missions and open world content offering approximately 20 hours of gameplay, Blood and Wine takes us through a heartwarming tale of knights of cavalry, chilling horrors, and much, much wine.
Consider this Geralt’s summer vacation. Pick up tasty loot, take on the toughest beasts you’ve ever encountered, enjoy the company of a colorful cast, and drink Geralt to a stupor. There may not be a bathtub, but there is a mission you can talk about Cockroach that’s as wild as it sounds.
As part of our The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt walkthrough and guide, we’ve put together everything you need to know about Blood and Wine.
Blood and Wine Main Mission Walkthrough
After downloading and installing Blood and Wine, look for a new post on Velen’s bulletin boards to acquire this first mission. Alternatively, you can choose to play a standalone version with a leveled Geralt equipped with acceptable endgame gear. This is more challenging than attempting Blood and Wine with a Geralt who has seen and performed most of the Wild Hunt activities.
The main story mission branches out here:
The main story of Blood and Wine ends in a post-ending mission called Always be so humble. See our Blood and Wine Endgame Guide for more information.
There are a ton of side quests in Blood and Wine, and some of them are true plugs. We’ll list your recommended titles and levels here as we find them, along with purchase notes.
