Windows 10 has several things to brag about, but the success of its app store is not exactly one of them. Almost a year and a half after its launch, Microsoft’s new star operating system is found in more than 400 million devices and with almost 700 thousand applications available for phones, tablets and computers, the Windows Store seems to have a promising future although it is still not as attractive as the Apple and Google stores.
In the case of the desktop, it is even more difficult to get good applications specially designed for Windows 10, which are also a better alternative than the win32 app (the ones we installed with the classic “next, next”). However, there are a good handful of tools that take advantage of the unique style and features of this version of Windows very well and that you should consider trying on your PC.
