26 mayo, 2021

ZTE just quietly made the Axon 11 4G official, a mid-range proposal which adds to the ranks of your catalog. It does so a little over a month after launching the ZTE Axon 11 5G, a terminal with which it shares design and some features, although at the hardware level the new 4G version is well below what is seen in the variant with better connectivity.

So let’s tell you what they are the specifications and features of the ZTE Axon 11 4G, as well as the main differences with the 5G model, since this model comes to play with different cards.

The ZTE Axon 11 4G maintains the 6.47-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution of its older brother. This results in we have a curved panel with a utilization of more than 90% according to ZTE, a notch of drop in the upper part and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. In the same way, the fingerprint reader is integrated under the screen, something that helps make the design more “clean”.

At the design level we are looking at the same phone. The ZTE Axon 11 4G starts from the base of the 5G model, coming the main differences at the hardware level

If we look at it from the back again, we are on the same phone. We thus find a body of 159.2 × 73.4 × 7.9mm with a weight of only 168g. From behind it is quite simple, with a camera module whose sensors we will talk about later and with quite rounded lines.

The best mid-range mobiles of 2020

At the hardware level we find a downgrade important. We went from the Snapdragon 765 that we found in the 5G model to the Helio P70 from MediaTek, an eight-core platform manufactured in a 12-nanometer process. It is not the most efficient or the most powerful processor in the mid-range, although it is a good way to lower costs. The set is accompanied by a 4,000mAh battery, with no news yet from ZTE on the memory configuration.

Four cameras inherited from the 5G model

At the camera level we find the same configuration as in the 5G model. This implies that we have a 64 megapixel main sensor, an 8 ultra wide angle and two two megapixel sensors in charge of macro and depth, respectively. Regarding the selfie camera, we have a 20 megapixel sensor with AI portrait mode.

As extras, the Axon 11 4G has DTS sound to enhance the audio experience, USB Type-C, NFC and memory expansion via microSD cards up to 2TB. At the software level, it has Android 10, customized with MiFavor 10, the customization layer of the Chinese company.
