Year after year we see how new tools emerge that allow us to give life to web pages or mobile applications without knowing an iota of programming.
Bubble is a startup that bets in this direction, since its service allows us to create web applications in a simple, intuitive way and without having to write a line of code.
The programmer career in 2017 and in the future (with Javier Santana)
As easy as drag and drop
Thanks to this platform you can create a real-time voting application, a social network where you can share video clips or a simple game with which to entertain the little ones in the house.
On their website they already make it clear that “you don’t need to be a programmer to create software” and they assure that with Bubble you will be able to “create and host web applications without having to write code or hire a team of engineers“.
Unlike other similar tools, Bubble claims that they are working to make their product much more powerful. By not having to write code, this service is based on a totally visual interface.
As we can see in the image below, Bubble allows us to choose a series of elements (icons, links, videos, maps, etc.) from a list that appears in the bar on the left, being able to place them in the place we want and adjust its size very easily.
In the second tab (Workflow) we can design how the logic of our tool works, specifying the order of the actions: choose each block, establish the sequence and even indicate certain conditions for each block.
We will also have the possibility of Create a database, something that is ideal if we need to collect some type of user information. This data can be imported and exported at any time.
In addition, they offer integration with many third-party services, so with a couple of clicks we can accept payments via Stripe, place a contact form or a reCaptcha to verify that we are visited by a human and not a robot.
Although the process is quite simple, when creating the account we will have access to a series of tutorials in which in a few minutes they teach us to use the different aspects of the platform.
