As we said, the Huawei Y7 comes to complete the basic range of Huawei, in which we already find the Huawei Y3 2017 and Huawei Y5 2017. The two existing models have 5-inch panels, and in this case the company is committed to a 5.5 inch diagonal which is close to the idea of phablet although, yes, the resolution remains at a discrete 1,280 x 720 pixels.

But although we are facing a simple terminal, Huawei does not renounce a design with elements of more complete equipment such as the 2.5D glass that covers your screen or its back cover made of aluminum.

Speaking of the rear, here we find the main camera with a sensor 12 megapixels accompanied by a phase detection focusing system that can focus on objects in just 0.3 seconds, according to Huawei. For the front camera, a sensor of 8 megapixels with face detection and the inevitable beauty mode.

We have already anticipated that the battery is one of the strengths of this smartphone, and that is that with a rather restrained technical sheet and a 4,000 mAh battery, the Huawei Y7 should comply with a note in the autonomy section. Huawei ensures that the terminal offers up to 20 hours of video playback or 15 hours of continuous browsing. In addition, they claim that it has a retention capacity of more than 80% even after 500 charge cycles.

Inside the Huawei Y7 there is also room for a processor Snapdragon 435, no Kirin chips, accompanied by an Adreno 505 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. In the internal memory section, the terminal offers 16 GB, expandable with MicroSD up to 128 GB.

The software is provided by Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 visual layer which, according to Huawei, has been designed so that 90% of the actions can be carried out in just three steps. In addition, it includes the screen mode that reduces blue light to avoid eyestrain.
