Motorola is premiering, again hand in hand with the mid-range. In this case, it brings three new terminals to the market, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, Moto One Macro and Moto E6 Play, three proposals that represent the new Moto generation,

As for the Motorola Moto E6 Play, we find again a commitment to value for money, giving up on the way to large resolutions and minimizing the cost of certain elements such as the processor, which happens to be from MediaTek.

Traditional single chamber design

Last year, the Motorola Moto G7 Play had a large notch on its front, as well as a circular camera on its back. The design changes, and now we are faced with a terminal that has no notchIt’s a traditional frame, and the rear is dominated by a horizontal rear camera, rather than the circle we saw last year.

Motorola bets again for a configuration of a single rear camera for its entry-level terminal

As for the photographic section, we are with a single 13 megapixel camera, which will act as the main sensor for traditional photography, without angles, macros, or telephoto lenses.

Humble specs, focused on basic usage

At the level of specifications, we are not facing an entry range. The panel of the Moto E6 Play is 5.5 inches, with HD + resolution, something that will help the battery last. This battery is 3000mAh, with a relatively fast charge of 10W.

The processor in this case is the MediaTek MT6739. The chip has four Cortex A53 cores capable of running at 1.5GHz. In terms of graphics, the processor incorporates a PowerVR GE8100 GPU at 570MHz, a graphics that supports HD + displays, 1,440 x 720 pixels, and that can record and play back videos at 30 frames per second.

Despite being an entry range, 2 GB of RAM currently seems scarce, although Motorola’s almost ‘pure’ Android helps good performance

As for the memory configurations, it has 2 GB of RAM (somewhat scarce these days) and 32 GB of internal memory, expandable with microSD cards of up to 512 GB.

How could it be otherwise, the ROM is the classic Motorola, clean and with few additions, although it is based on Android 9.0 Pie, and not Android 10, the latest version currently available.

Versions and prices of the Motorola Moto E6 Play

The Motorola Moto E6 Play will come, as we anticipated, by the hand of a version with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.

Its price will be 109 euros, and It will go on sale from December. A fairly low price, which places it in a segment of the 100 euros little cop, and where a terminal with such a little personalized ROM can have a lot to say.
