The bunkers in the war zone have changed in the Cold War. Season 2. Some Warzone bunkers are now closed and the remaining ones no longer need codes. Additionally, Warzone missile silos have appeared all over the map with good loot and no entry requirements. However, as of Season 2, Warzone Bunkers 00, 04, 05, 06, 09, and 11 are closed, leaving 01, 02, 03, 07, 08, and 10 still available. However, 1 and 3 were Warzone bunkers that used codes and are now open, with decent loot, and 10 is now a silo, which has good loot. All of which are now open and require no special requirements to open.
It means that in Call of Duty Warzone Season 2, if you’re looking for warzone bunkers or red keycards, or trying to use a warzone bunker code, your best bet is to target a missile silo. They don’t need tricks to open, they contain a decent amount of chests, and as long as you can survive bumping into someone else, they are a good way to start a game. It’s worth noting that the Warzone Stadium key cards are gone as well, and those locations are open as well. And to be more clear, Bunker 11 is closed too, so don’t waste your time trying to make all the phones and Morse code stuff that they used to open.
We’ve saved all the details of the Warzone bunkers, cards, and codes here despite the changes just in case things can get back to normal. But since it seems increasingly likely that a War zone nuclear event it will destroy Verdansk and give us a new map, we may have completely new replacements for the bunker system in the future.

Warzone missile silos
Currently your best bet for some good loot early on after all the Warzone bunker changes are these three Warzone missile silos that have replaced bunkers previously in those locations. These do not need cards or codes and are open from the beginning. They’re packed with loot, and being indoors offers a bit of protection, but it means you’ll be fighting at close range if you’re not alone. Grab an SMG if you can, quick. 1 and 2 can be accessed through giant, hard-to-miss holes in the ground, while 3 is the old Bunker 10 and can be entered through the gate on the coastal road.
We have more details on how to find Warzone Missile Silos here.
Warzone Bunker Codes

These Warzone Bunker Codes came into effect as part of the Black Ops Cold War preview when a number of new warzone bunkers and cabins appeared on the map. HOWEVER, these doors are currently open and no longer need a code. They still have some loot, but not much more than anywhere else. We have kept them here in case they all return in any form.
Warzone bunker locations
The map above shows all 11 Warzone bunker locations. REMEMBER: Bunkers 00, 04, 05, 06, 09 and 11 are currently closed, leaving 01, 02, 03, 07, 08 and 10 still usable. HOWEVER: Bunkers 1, 3, and 10 were converted to bunkers that used bunker codes to open as part of the Black Ops Cold War provocation and, like the rest of the bunker code options, are now open by default and they contain no more than average loot.
So that leaves, 02, 07 and 08 as viable bunkers to open with a red key card for loot and extra cash. If you can get your hands on a red key card, then you currently only have these options.
How to open the Warzone bunker doors
First are the 10 Warzone Bunker Gates that are unrelated to the Bunker 11 puzzle. These are pretty simple to enter the first level. You must first get one of Warzone’s red key cards.
Warzone Red Key Card Locations
There is no easy answer here, as you get the Warzone red key cards as a random drop from boxes scattered all over the map. However, once you have one, you can walk up to one of the 10 bunker doors on the map and open it. You will know that it can be opened if there is a green light. Inside these bunkers you will find great loot that can help you win the game.
Warzone Bunker 11
BUNKER 11 IS CURRENTLY CLOSED AS PART OF COLD WAR SEASON 2. Here we leave the information in case it returns, but for now there is no point trying the complicated steps necessary to open it.
Warzone Bunker 11 is a completely different perspective compared to the others in the game. Opening that involves visiting different phones on the map, collecting Russian numbers and Morse code before you can access Warzone Bunker 11. It’s less about the loot, though you’ll find plenty of loot and an SMG blueprint for the MP7 Mud Dauber and more about the secret nuke you can find hidden there. Whether players will ever be able to cast it remains to be seen, but for now, here’s how to open Warzone Bunker 11 and get to what’s behind that door.
Warzone Bunker Message Phone Locations for Bunker 11
So if you want to get into Warzone bunker 11, you will first have to figure out what to do with the phones. The map shows the location of five different phones; These are specific Warzone phones that can play the initial message you need to hear to get started. You can’t use just any old phone.
The moment you hit the ground, you’ll need to head over to these phones and check them. If you hear a dial tone, it’s the wrong phone, if you hear Russian speaking … bingo! You found the correct phone and you need to hear three numbers in Russian. The numbers start when you hear a short jingle and end when you hear that jingle again.
This is the main crib sheet that people have been using to calculate the numbers:
Numbers 0-10 in Russian for the Easter egg in the cod war zone to open the bunker 11 @BattleRoyaleCoD @CallofDuty @MWModernWarfare @codwarzones pic.twitter.com/MGTju0GtSYMay 21, 2020
When you’ve heard and figured out all three numbers, it’s time to move on to the next step.
Call of Duty Warzone Morse Code Phones for Bunker 11
For the next step, you need to address three Warzone phones across the map that correspond to the numbers you just heard. The map above shows all 10 phones (0-9), so just go to the three numbers you heard in order. It has to be in the correct order or the puzzle will restart.
When you interact with these phones, you will hear a morse code. This translates to the numbers you’ve heard before, so if you’re following this guide, you don’t need to open a morse code translator. Once you’ve visited all three phones, head to Bunker 11 at the top of the map marked with the blue circle on the map above.
As you get closer, the light should be green and you will be able to interact with the keypad by the door and open it. Enter and you will be rewarded with so lots of loot including the Mud Drauber SMG blueprint to be added to your account.
In one room there is a double screen computer on the wall, failing. Interact with it to reset it and a timer will start in the next room, counting down from 10 seconds. When it reaches 2, it will turn off and restart the countdown.
On the opposite side of the bunker, you can crawl through a hole in the wall to find a “Bright Red Button”. Press it and the smoke will clear in the window, revealing that a nuclear bomb is being built. IF he ever does… something, we’ll let you know.
