Within the vast sea of online educational options, sites like edX stand out for offering not only a large number of programs that are also freeInstead, they are backed by some of the most prestigious universities in the world.
edX was founded in 2012 by Harvard University and MIT and has since increased its offering thanks to more than 90 global partners that include recognized educational institutions. edX is an open source, non-profit organization that seeks to bring education to students around the world, and now, after five years of life, they have finally launched their site in Spanish.

The page will now better serve Spanish-speaking students. Navigation is easier and so is searching for courses. If your browser is in Spanish, you will not need to do anything to experience the site in your language. In case you need it, you have the option to change the language settings in the language selector at the bottom of the page at edx.org/es.
The Spanish language home page and website have a variety of courses and programs, many taught in Spanish and others in English. The offer of courses in Spanish is not as wide as that of courses in English, but it continues to grow.
Some of the universities that collaborate with their programs include the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Carlos III University of Madrid, the Galileo University, the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and more.
