The size of the Cyberpunk 2077 map is large, but knowing how to fast travel in Cyberpunk 2077 can make scrolling very fast. There’s a lot going on in the streets and while the map may look scary when filled with icons, the density can be a lot less scary once you know what’s going on and how to get around. And, if it all seems like too much to deal with, there is a journal and filters to help you choose between the options and select from the various activities you can do.

Cyberpunk 2077 map size
In terms of the size of the Cyberpunk 2077 map, no official figures have ever been released, just a statement from CD Projekt Red that it would be slightly smaller than The Witcher 3. Estimates from fans of the trailer’s guess work had sizes around the size of GTA 5 Los Santos, but when playing the game and measuring across the map, it is actually about 11 km high and 10 km wide, representing a range of 100-110 square kilometers, allowing for the approximate measurements of the game. That also measures the full map, including sparsely populated outskirts – main breeding area is probably slightly more than half.
Cyberpunk 2077 full map
This is the entire playable area of the Cyberpunk 2077 map. There are six city districts that we’ll get to shortly, as well as the Badlands and outlying areas. The blue lines are roads that give a good indication of where you can actually go within this space. You’ll see pretty much every possible area during the course of the game, with various missions taking you to all of the main locations. Each area is self-sufficient in the sense that you will find a selection of all providers, services, fast-travel points, etc. what do you need. So you can easily camp in one area for a while to explore and see what’s there without worrying about having to go elsewhere to find supplies.
Most of your time will be spent in the city itself, which is made up of six main districts divided into sub-districts. Each area differs in style and appearance depending on its condition. Some areas are run-down, others are rich, and the people, shops, and buildings will reflect this. There are also different bands that control most areas.
Each of these major districts is made up of additional sub-districts, and again may change in appearance as you move between them.

Cyberpunk 2077 fast travel
Fast travel points appear all over the map once you have found them, which means that you can easily move between any area you have already been to and where you have passed a fast travel point. They appear as small kiosks with a holographic map in the real world and as blue markers on the map. You don’t have to interact with them to unlock anything, they’ll just be added as you explore and you’ll be able to move freely around the areas you’ve visited in no time.
