Latest update of Google camera hides more news in its update to version 7.2. The photographic application of the Pixel, in addition to adding the astrophotography mode, also debuts new features with new Google Lens suggestions.
Google Lens visual recognition is built into Google Camera, which adds extra functions such as being able to read codes, links and email addresses from an image. Now these functions are extended with three tools focused on documents.
Scan, copy and translate documents
Google Camera 7.2 now lets us scan, copy and translate texts. Now focusing on a document from the camera with the new Google Lens suggestions may offer us one of these three suggestions.
If we focus on a complete document, Google Lens will suggest the option Scan document. Clicking on the suggestion will take a photo and adjust the corners of the document automatically, although we can adjust them manually. Then it will allow us to share the document or save it to a PDF.
If we focus on a text here, it may suggest the option Copy text or Translate in Lens if it is in another language. In the option to copy the text, we can select fragments of text to copy and also translate the recognized text.
