You probably don’t know him, but we talked about Grammofy a year ago. Back then it was a small alternative streaming music service dedicated entirely to classical music. Although its cost was quite low (2.99 euros per month), the service did not take off and was closed.
Now Grammofy is back as a free service integrated with SpotifyAlthough they already plan to integrate with other streaming music services as well. In Grammofy they have understood that people simply do not want to pay twice for the same thing, it did not make sense to pay separately for streaming classical music if you already pay for Spotify Premium for example.
27 SPOTIFY TRICKS – Control all your MUSIC like nobody else!
The new Grammofy retains its main appeal: the recommendations and the specialized interface dedicated to the discovery and information about the classical music genre.
Now alone you have to connect Grammofy with your Spotify Premium account (This is not available for free users of the service) and you will be able to listen to music streamed from Spotify but in the Grammofy interface.
In Grammofy they also plan to reactivate their application for iOS, soon you will be able to connect with other streaming music services (although they have not said which ones). They will also start producing new music collections, but in the meantime you can take advantage of the more than 100 existing collections, and the more than 50,000 songs selected by the Grammofy team.
If you are one of those who enjoy classical music and want to learn more about the genre, meet other artists, not only classical but contemporary, Grammofy is an excellent way to do it and now you can do it by taking advantage of your Spotify account.
