Down in the basement of the Super mario 64 castle you will find the next four stages, including course six, Nebulous Labyrinth Cave.
This one is not entered through a painting – down in the basement you will see a picture of fire going to Lethal Lava Land, instead of entering that turn right to find a free star door. Go through that and there is a mysterious pool of liquid: jump to enter Hazy Maze Cave, which like seven other stars for you …
Nebula Maze Cave Star 1: Swimming Beast in the Cavern
At the entrance, take the path to the left and do a long jump to get over the big gap here. Follow the level course: up where the rocks are falling, through a door, down the elevator. You will eventually end up in a large open cave area, and here is Dorrie the Sea Dragon. Dorrie is friendly so just get on her head and use her to get to the middle platform and reach the power star there.
Hazy Maze Cave Star 2: Rise for 8 Red Coins
The red coin star is older in this level, but it is also simpler than other levels… and yet more complicated. All the red coins are all in one room, but getting them all is a kind of puzzle. Head to the right hallway at the opening. The next room is a large, square room with several floors. You can go up to the first level using stairs in the corner.
At this level, there is a platform with directional buttons. Step on a button to move the platform in that direction; It won’t stop until it hits something. There are 4 coins in this level, hidden inside blocks and the like. Next, you’ll want to guide the platform so that you can jump onto a pole and go up to the next level, where you’ll find the last four coins. The star reappears on the floor, right in the middle of the room.
Hazy Maze Cave Star 3: Metal Head Mario Can Move
For this star, you will need to have pressed green! Switch to unlock the metal cover. Now go back to the lake where we got Star 1. Here’s a Metal Cap block. Use Metal Mario to hit! switch that is underwater in the lake, opening doors that you then have to long jump through after the metal cap has expired.
Hazy Maze Cave Star 4: Navigating the Toxic Maze
From the red coin room there is a door, behind which there is a hole. In front of the hole is a map: the down arrow shows your starting point and the up arrow shows the exit. The blue circles are places you can climb, but this time you won’t need them. Anyway, take a look at the map before going down. Through this hole there is a labyrinth full of toxic gases that hurt Mario. Metal Mario is invulnerable to this, so this star is easier if you grab the Metal Cap available below. Exit the cave and the elevator takes you to the star.
Hazy Maze Cave Star 5: Emergency Exit A-Maze-Ing
This star is basically the same as the previous one, so head back to the toxic maze. This time, you’ll want to use the places where those blue circles are on the map to get high and get to a ledge on the left. If you get lost, there’s a blue coin box down here – swipe it over to reveal the blue coins, which simply lead you straight to this star.
Hazy Maze Cave Star 6: Keep an eye out for falling rocks
Do you remember the area we passed on our way to Star 1 with the rocks falling? Avoid the rocks and get to the area where they are popping up on stage and falling. There’s a ledge here near the door; You’ll want to kick a wall there, like those stars in Cool, Cool Mountain, and Big Boo’s Haunt, and hit the ledge. Then you can grab the star.
Hazy Maze Cave Star 7: Collect 100 Coins
This isn’t a terrible 100-coin star, but you will probably need the blue coins found in the toxic cave. There are only 31 yellow coins, but there is almost the same amount hidden inside enemies – many of the baddies here drop 3 coins when defeated. Expect to lose some of those coins in the pots mind, but there are a lot more than 100 in this scenario.
Now is the time to turn up the heat in Lethal Lava Land.
