WhatsApp added calling functionality back in 2015 and video calls were arriving a year later. As with normal phone calls, WhatsApp calls too are kept in the registryunless you do something to prevent it.
If for some reason you don’t want a WhatsApp call to appear on the list, you can selectively delete it. Similarly, WhatsApp makes it easy for you delete all call log at a stroke.

Delete some WhatsApp calls
If you want to delete the call log for just some of the calls, the good news is that you can select exactly which ones you want to delete. To do this, go to the tab Calls WhatsApp and do a long touch in those that you want to delete.
This will activate the selection mode, in which you can select other calls by tapping on them (single tap). When you’re done selecting, tap on the trash can icon to delete them. There is no confirmation: they are simply deleted.
Delete all WhatsApp calls
If you want to delete absolutely all the calls included in the WhatsApp call log, the good news is that you don’t need to do the previous step to select them all. Instead, use the menu and choose Clear call log.
In this case you do need confirm your intentions in the window. At the moment WhatsApp does not give you the option of not saving the call log, so you must repeat these steps periodically if you want to keep it empty.
