The first thing you have to do is search your feed for the video you want to download and start playing it. Next what you have to do is run the mobile version of the web for that video. Imagine that the URL you got from the video is https://www.facebook.com/Magnet/videos/1365629023497146/, because all you have to do is paste it in a new tab changing the www and for an m, so that, in the example above, the address looks like this: https://m.facebook.com/Magnet/videos/1365629023497146/.

Putting that address in a tab will run the video in full screen. Now it is very important to press play and let it play for a second or two. When you right-click on it, if you have let it play, you will see that in the pop-up tab of Windows you will see the option Save video as …

In addition to that option, you will see that in the video control panel, in the mobile version, when you play it you also see a download button to download it directly. Video Twitter

It seems that although the large social networks try to make sure that you cannot download the videos freely on their websites, they don’t pay as much care to their mobile versions. And it is that we have been able to verify that with a technique almost identical to that of Facebook you can also download, without needing any software, any video from Twitter.

This time too, the first thing you have to do is search your current feed for the tweet that contains the video you want to download, and click on it to access the video. In the browser’s address bar You will see a unique URL for that video, is that the address that you will have to modify.

Imagine that the URL of your video is https://twitter.com/magnet_es/status/809037217075236864. All you have to do is add term mobile. before the word twitter in that direction. Come on, taking the example URL that we just used, the result you have to enter would be https://mobile.twitter.com/magnet_es/status/809037217075236864.

Once again, doing this will enter the mobile version of the Twitter website. It will seem that the video is not full size, but when you click on it to run it you will see that it is enlarged to the maximum to play. Again it is again vital that you start playing the video, since if you don’t, you won’t have the option to save it.

Once you start playing it, by right clicking on the video you will see the option of Save video as …, although the safest thing is that in the playback controls the browser also includes the option to download. If you click on the download button, it will download the video directly, while if you do it with the right click, you will be able to choose the destination.
