If our mobile phone is stolen, it is important to know its IMEI to be able to file a complaint at the police station and for the operator to block the terminal so that it cannot connect to the network with any SIM.
When we have the mobile in hand it is very easy to see your IMEI from its settings, in the information section, but if we lose the mobile and we do not keep your box the thing the thing seems to be complicated, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Find my device
Now knowing the IMEI of any of our mobile devices is very simple thanks to the tool Find my device. From the version 2.2 we can consult the IMEI of all our devices with 2G / 3G / 4G connectivity. If they are Wi-Fi they will not have IMEI.
For this we have to download Find my device from another of our mobile devices, or enter from its web version. There we log in with our Google account and select the device to locate. In the new Information section we can see the IMEI.
