Google does not stop integrating functionalities to its search engine. If a few weeks ago you launched a tool to measure the speed of your Internet connection, now they return with a simple game to help us improve our vocabulary in English.
East easter egg We can only find it (at least for now) if we access from the mobile version. We will simply have to open the browser on our smartphone and type “Google Word Coach” or “Word Coach” to start it.
5 questions and two possible answers
It will start like this a round with five questions, in which we will add points as we get it right. A word will appear and they will ask us to relate it to another definition or to an image.
Apparently, some words will be chosen according to our search history, and each time we start a new test, other questions should appear. At the end of it, our score will appear and more details about each of the questions.
If you answer a couple of rounds without having any failure, you will surely see a notification indicating that you can level up. In this way, you will start to receive more complicated terms.
The negative point may be that it does not remember your score when you start a new test, so you will not be able to access a history with your progress. Google released this simple game in non-English speaking countries, and they assure that in the future it could reach more countries and with other languages.
It is a simple and fast way to expand our vocabulary in English. We already know that based on Duolingo data, the best time of day to learn another language it is before sleeping. It may be a good idea to try it a couple of times before bed.
