Moto Z Play, all the information

26 mayo, 2021

Lenovo, the company that owns Motorola, today presented a new smartphone, also belonging to the Moto Z family inaugurated this year. The new Moto Z Play comes to reinforce his older brothers, the Moto Z and Moto Z ForceThis time to give people the opportunity to buy a cheaper mobile, but obviously less powerful.

This new terminal has much of the identity of the highest-end terminals presented a few months ago, with the exception of a few design-level changes and, of course, hardware changes, the main reason that would make this terminal one more affordable for the public on foot. It is best if we make the relevant presentations below.

Moto Z Play, design and specifications

Moto Z Play

Hello, I present to you the Moto Z Play, a terminal that has a clear resemblance to its older brothers, the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, with the exception that in the back, instead of metal, we will see glass. We find a terminal that is quite close in size to its two brothers because, in fact, it has the same screen size.

However, it is somewhat thicker than the Moto Z with its 7mm thick, and is that the 3.5mm jack returns so that we can use our headphones for a lifetime, but it also incorporates a considerably more generous battery than the normal version of the Moto Z, going to 3,300 mAh which, according to the manufacturer, can give up to 45 hours of autonomy.

As for its screen, it has a size of 5.5 inch, following in the phablet field how popular it is becoming, but its resolution drops to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, resulting in a density of 441 ppi. AT Lenovo is relying on technology again Super AMOLED for more vivid colors.

If we go to the muscle section, we are talking about a medium-high range, with a processor Snapdragon 625 at 2 GHz, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which, if they seem few to you, can be expanded with microSD cards up to 2 TB. With these specifications they come to bring a powerful terminal without reaching the top of the range.

As for autonomy, as we said, it has a 3,300 mAh battery that, according to Lenovo, it can last up to 45 hours, but if you spend it, you have Turbo charge, with which they promise enough charge for 8 hours in just 15 minutes. As for the photographic section, we find 16 MP cameras behind with phase detection autofocus.

Along with the Moto Z Play we will see a Moto Mod fruit of the collaboration between Lenovo and the Swedes from Hasselblad called True Zoom, which incorporates a 10x zoom along with a physical shutter button and physical controls, as well as a romantic xenon flash .

Along with this terminal, and in collaboration with Hasselblad, they also present a Moto Mod True Zoom, with features like 10x optical zoom and RAW shooting. This Moto Mod features a physical button to fire, physical controls to control zoom, and includes a xenon flash.

Thanks to the alliance between Lenovo and the Swedish Hasselblad, users will have Phocus photo editing software at their disposal to get more out of photos in their original format. In addition, Google Photos gives you unlimited storage in original quality for two years.
