Motorola Moto One, data sheet of characteristics and price

26 mayo, 2021

Motorola mobiles have always been characterized by having clean software, very close to Google’s Android. However, it is from today that they can affirm that they have a truly pure Android, without any customization and under the direct design lines of Google. Motorola presents us within the framework of the IFA 2018 its new Motorola Moto One, the brand’s first ‘Android One’.

We are facing a mid-range mobile that bears a great resemblance to previous Motorola phones. We found the already known Snapdragon 625, 4GB of RAM and dual rear camera. The novelty, in addition to being an Android One, is the commitment to a 5.9-inch screen with ‘notch’ and NFC. We are going to know what are its official characteristics and the price.

A mid-range with recognizable features

The Moto One is a mobile with a splash-resistant glass body and a screen of 5.9 inches with HD + resolution and 19: 9 aspect ratio to enter the top ‘notch’. For a few months, most manufacturers have opted for this notch to optimize the size of the device and from Motorola they also seem to go this way.

Inside the Moto One we find the Snapdragon 625 processor. It is a processor that works very well but has already been behind for several years. The choice is surprising having more recent similar options, but we understand that it will help them reduce their price in the near future. Accompanying the chipset we will find 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded by microSD card.

For the battery we have 3,000 mAh that can be quickly charged with Turbopower technology and the 15W charger that promises up to six hours of autonomy in twenty minutes. The Moto One is also equipped with USB type C, radioFM and NFC.

Regarding the photographic section, Motorola has decided to incorporate a 13 megapixel dual rear camera on the main sensor with an f / 2.0 aperture lens and a two megapixel secondary camera. For the front for its part we have eight megapixels with an aperture f / 2.2 and flashLED.

The Motorola Moto One is a complete and balanced mid-range, where in addition to having the security of Google it is added [NFC](https://www.xataka.com/basics/nfc-android-que-como-activarlo-se-puede-usar) for those looking to pay with their mobile.

And we finish the review of the characteristics of the Moto One talking about the software. Android 8.1 Oreo is the version that incorporates the new Motorola mid-range but will be guaranteed the update to Android 9 Pie, as well as the support of Google for a month three years at the level of security updates thanks to belonging to the Android One program.
