Every year there is an unmissable appointment with one of the longest-lived and most important phone ranges in the world, the Galaxy S. The launch of the new iteration not only gathers a huge amount of news on the day of the event, but also of previous rumors. And, despite the fact that we knew much of the characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, that is no excuse why we were not surprised to know it officially. Without a doubt, he was born to conquer.

The Galaxy S20 this year start in the form of three models: S20 ‘normal’, S20 + and S20 Ultra. As is logical, the technical characteristics and the size grow from the basic model to the most equipped; growing also the cost of the device. And it does not disappoint: the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has enormous dimensions, its construction is at the highest level, the materials remain in the line of quality and offers a screen that dazzles in all areas. Large panel, very well used, with high resolution, compatible with HDR10 + and, for the first time in Samsung, Dynamic AMOLED screen offers high refresh rate. 120 Hz, perfect for games and applications that make use of this high frequency rate.

In addition to including the latest Samsung SoC, the Galaxy S20 Ultra boasts maximum speed and lots of storage and RAM: up to 512GB and 16GB. It remains to be seen that it really means an improvement in terms of speed and, above all, multitasking.

And it has done so by equipping the new generation of Galaxy S with a set of sensors, lenses and software designed not only to take high-quality captures, but also to blur zoom limits on phones.

The mobile phone mounts a set of quadruple rear camera that boasts the 108 Mpx Samsung sensor that we already saw in mobiles such as the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. In addition, it equips a 48 Mpx telephoto, a 12 Mpx ultra-wide lens and a ToF sensor to complete the list of possibilities. And they are huge: from bringing a distant object closer thanks to its digital zoom of up to 100x to offering brutal stabilization in video recording. It even records in 8K.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra aims to obtain sharp images, with a high level of detail, avoids the maximum of shake and achieves a noteworthy photographic experience thanks to its capture application. Background blur, portrait mode, professional shooting, various recording functions, also playful retouching options. All so that the user not only saves his best moments for posterity, he also has the option to share them instantly and with a couple of clicks.
