Windows 10 updates on the run. The latest AdDuplex monthly report, corresponding to this month of November, shows that the adoption of the October 2020 Update of the latest Redmond operating system is present in 8.8% of the computers, coming from the 1.7% registered in October.
This means that you have experienced meteoric growth, although not anomalous, largely caused by those who have had to reluctantly or not abandon the May 2019 update. The reason? End of support: ends next December 8.

This is the Windows 10 situation
AdDuplex, which prepares these reports from data collected from some 5,000 applications in the Microsoft store that use its solutions, estimates that the version most installed today is the May 2020 Update. Windows 10 2004 has a 37.6% share.
It is followed closely with 36.4% by version 1909 of Windows 10, the November 2019 Update. Further away is version 1903, precisely the May 2019 update that in a few days will be without support, with 10.2%, and the last update, 20H2, with that 8.8% mentioned.
Despite everything, according to the data from this technology, the growth of the recently released October 2020 Update seems to be in line with the latest versions released by Microsoft. It remains to be seen how it will perform in the coming months.
